Today, I can show you some layouts for the album of our alaska vacation again. Besides the many cards actually a few off layouts be produced.
Das 1. Layout für heute zeigt die Bewohner der Wildnis. Auf unserer Tour durch den Denali National Park gab es davon ja so einiges zu sehen. Diese Vielfalt an Tieren musste einfach festgehalten werden.
The first Layout show you the Wildlife. Yes, on our tour through Denali National Park, there was a lot of wildlife to see. This diversity of animals necessarily had to scrap on a layout.
Auf dem 2. Layout habe ich wieder ein Panorambild verscrapt. Der Wonderlake im Denali ist ja auch ein Panorama wert. Das beste Bild ist wohl der Wonderlake mit dem Mt. McKinley im Hintergrund. Leider hatten wir dieses Glück nicht und somit gibt es nur ein Panorma vom Wonderlake ;) Wobei auch das ein herrlicher Anblick war.
On the 2nd Layout I used a panoramic picture again. Yes, Denali´s Wonder Lake it´s worth to take a panoramic picture. The big picture is probably the Wonder Lake with Mt McKinley in the background. Unfortunately, we were not so lucky and so there´s only the panoramic picture of Wonder Lake. But this was also a wonderful scene.
Und zu guter Letzt ist noch dieses Layout vom Portage Lake entstanden. Bei unserer Wanderung zum Byron Gletscher sind wir am Portage Lake und dem Begich, Boggs Visitor Center vorbei gekommen.
Die doch sehr touristische Bootsfahrt auf dem Portage Lake haben wir nicht mitgemacht. Böse Zungen behaupten, es wäre reine Abzocke. Dazu können wir jetzt nichts sagen. Die Eisschollen haben wir auch vom Ufer gesehen. Wohl eher nur die kleinen, aber auch die waren schon ziemlich groß. Das Visitor Center ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, da es einen sehr interessanten Film über den Portage Gletscher zeigt. Den Gletscher selbst, kann man nur noch per Boot erreichen. Früher (1911-1950) konnte man den Gletscher direkt vom Visitor Center aus sehen. Die Erderwärmung zeigt auch hier ihre Spuren!
And finally, I made this layout from Portage Lake. On our hike to Byron Glacier we passed Portage Lake and the Begich, Boggs Visitor Center. We skipped the boat trip on Portage Lake, because it´s so much touristic. Evil tongues say it would be a rip-off. we can't say anything for that. But the ice we also see from the shoreline. We think, it was only the small ice, but they were already pretty big. Necessarily you have to visit the Vistor Center. You can watch a very interesting movie about the Portage Glacier. If you wan´t to see the glacier, you have to make a boat trip on Portage Lake. In the past (1911-1950) everybody could see the glacier from the Visitor Center, if the weather was good. Climatic fluctuations and global warming leave there their footprints.
