Today I show you 4 more layouts of our Alaska vacations. 4 completely different layouts to 4 completely different things that we have experienced in Alaska.
Fangen wir mit diesem Layout hier an. Der Summit Lake.
Wow, was für eine traumhafte Landschaft. Hier musste es unbedingt ein Panoramabild werden. Und da hier das Bild für sich sprechen sollte, habe ich auch gar nicht viel Schnickschnack drumherum gemacht. Nur die Sterne im Hintergrund sind mit einer Mask und Stempelfarbe gemacht. Mit den Embellies bin ich dieses Mal etwas sparsamer umgegangen. Aber die Worte, die diesen Moment so vortrefflich beschreiben, die musste ich unbedingt noch aufstempeln.
We start with this layout. "Summit Lake".
Wow, what a fantastic landscape. So at this moment I knew, that I have to take a panoramic picture. At this layout I wanted that the picture speaks for himself. I renounced all the bells and whistles. Only for the stars in the background I used a mask and stamping colour. With the embellies I'm dealt this time a little more economical. But these words that describe this moment so very good, I absolutely had to have stamp on.
Das nächste Layout habe ich zu unserem "Besuch beim Weihnachtsmann" gemacht. Im netten Städtchen North Pole wohnt nämlich ganz offiziell der Weihnachtsmann. Mit eigenem Briefkasten, eigenem Rentierstall und natürlich einem gigantischen Verkaufsraum in traditionellem amerikanischen Kitsch, in dem man das ganze Jahr über fleißig Weihnachtsdeko, Weihnachtsgeschenke, Süßigkeiten und anderen Krimskrams einkaufen kann. Ansonsten gibt es North Pole nichts Interessantes. Eins sei nur noch erwähnt. Alle Namen der Hauptstraßen haben hier irgendetwas mit Weihnachten zu tun. Wen wundert's.
This following layout I created to remeber our "visit Santa". Did you know that the official adress of Santa is in the little town of North Pole in Alaska. He has his own mailbox there, a barn for his rendeers and you can find a very very big show- and merchandising room at the official mail adress of Santa. There you can buy all these typical american christmas decorations, candy, christmas gifts and other bits and pieces all year round. Otherwise there is no more interesting things in North Pole. But let me tell you one last thing. All the main road streetnames in North Pole are concerned in christmas. So you can find for example "Nicolaus Drive" or "Santa Claus Lane" or "Snowman Lane". Are you surprised?
Dieses Layout habe ich einem für Alaska sehr ungewöhnlichen Augenblick gewidmet. Denn wir haben in dem kleinen Städtchen Talkeetna doch tatsächlich ein Brauhaus mit Biergarten entdeckt. Und passend zu solch einer Location, hatten wir super schönes Wetter. Wir saßen also tatsächlich mit Sonnenbrille auf Holzbänken in einem Biergarten inmitten Alaskas und tranken das Bier einer kleinen privaten Brauerei. Und das Bier war wirklich gut. Sehr lecker im Geschmack. Und diesen tollen Nachmittag galt es eben in dem nächsten Layout zu verscrappen.

this layout was created to remeber a unusual moment. In my mind this moment was so untypical for Alaska, because we found in the little nice town Talkeetna a brewing house with a beer garden in the front yard. And the weather at this day matched. Sun was shining, the weather was perfect for sitting with sunglases on woodbenches in a beer garden and drink some beer of a private brewinghouse. And the beer was very good. Very deliciouse. So this special moment had to get a space in our vacation album.
Das letzte Layout, das ich euch heute zeige, ist ein gnadenloser Lift. Ich habe ihn bei Jessica in einem Blogbeitrag gefunden und fande es so passend zu meinem Foto, welches ich verscrappen wollte.
Besonderst gefallen hatte mir, dass meine aktuelle Lieblingsfarbe verwendet wurde. Hier passte einfach alles zusammen. Die Papiere waren schnell gefunden, die Nähmaschine kam zum Einsatz und ein paar Papierreste aus der Restekisten konnten auch noch verwendet werden. Danke Jessica für diese tolle Vorgabe.

The last layout for today is a merciless lift. I found the sketch at a blogpost at Jessicas Blog and at the first second I know, this is the right sketch for my foto. Besides Jessica used my favorite color turquoise. Here was everything just perfect. All the papers was found very quickly, I used my sewing maschine and I was able to use some of my scraps from my scrapbox. Thank you Jessica for this very good lift pattern.
